Over 7,000 Hours of Riding
Experience
Tricia at the Cowtown Colliseum
Tricia Aldridge - Murphy
Manager/Trainer/Instructor

By the age of five she could ride a horse by herself, and she received her first pony when she was
six at the end of her kindergarten year.

Living on a farm in Tennessee for seven years, she had unlimited riding time

She attended over 100 horse shows including the Tennessee State Show and she has won multiple
awards and ribbons.

By age 12 she already had over 3,000 hours of riding experience, was on her fourth horse and had
already had experience riding dozens more!

Moved to the DFW in March, 2000.  By age 13 she was hired to train someone’s horse that had
seriously injured its rider.  After that success many more horse owners started hiring her, and she
started working at a separate barn that hired her to train and fix dozens of problem horses.

Tricia has attended and ridden in many clinics including 4-H, reining, Monty Roberts, Martha
Josey, Lynn McKenzie and Ed Wright.

She has assisted Dr. Britt Clark, DVM all day in surgery at a large equine veterinarian facility
near Gatesville, Texas and she spent a week with a large breeder in Tennessee when she went
back to visit during spring break.

She has ridden English, Western, and Saddle Seat, but her focus is on play days and barrel racing.

She is an advanced bareback rider, and frequently demonstrates to her students various riding
skills and techniques.

Tricia worked part time at Sergeants Western Wear in the tack department for six months and
then worked for nine months at Lone Star Park Tack Store.  She was hired as an assistant to one
of the trainer's at the track and worked there for nine months.  This gave her the opportunity to
interview customers and trainers to learn what equipment, tack and supplements worked and
which ones did not work.  Tricia has personally tried just about every product on the market
when it comes to horses.  These experiences enable Tricia to save her clients a fortune by steering
them away from products that are not worth while.

Tricia has trained personally one on one with many equine professionals including Barrel Racing
Trainer Zach Thompson, Reining Training with the late Gerald "Jerry" Ellis of Ellis Performance
Horses, Cutting Trainer Bill Phelps, and Dressage Trainer Jim Eldridge of Noble Champion Sport
Horses.
